UNFORGOTTENKAI

A LITTLE CHAOS. A LOT OF SOUL.

UNFORGOTTENKAI aka Dylan Liddiard. One human. Many worlds.

UNFORGOTTENKAI aka Dylan Liddiard.

I've been drawing since I was a kid, pulled toward characters, street culture, and imagined worlds. That curiosity grew into the art and design I make today.

My work moves between illustration, graphic design, identity, and digital experiences. Different mediums. The same instinct: make something that stays with you.

I studied graphic design from 2016 to 2019, graduating with an Ontario College Diploma, a 4.0 GPA, honours, and the top spot in my class.

The creative loadout

Illustration, Character design, Graphic design, Brand identity, Album artwork, Merch design

  • Photoshop: Compositing, colour, atmosphere. Turning individual pieces into one unmistakable image.
  • Illustrator: From a single mark to a complete visual identity. Sharp shapes, considered systems, and scalable detail.
  • Clip Studio Paint: Characters with personality. Expressive linework, deliberate silhouettes, and the details that tell a story.
  • InDesign: Typography, rhythm, and space. Making a page feel as intentional as the art it holds.
  • After Effects: Giving static ideas a pulse. Kinetic type, transitions, and graphic worlds in motion.
  • Figma: Interfaces with a point of view. Making the journey feel as good as the destination.
  • Blender: Exploring light, material, and dimension. Another way to build a world.
  • ZBrush: Working in volume. Exploring expressive forms and character details in three dimensions.

My creative journey

2016 / My creative career begins.

In 2016, I began my career as a digital artist and designer, accepting commissions, designing logos, and taking on brand identities. The first steps toward building a world of my own.

2016 / Us. A world in red.

Promotional artwork I created for Universal Studios. Red, shadow, and a familiar face made unsettling. A piece of my creative journey, preserved here in the archive.

2016–2019 / Drawing meets design.

I started college in 2016, the same year my creative career began. In 2019, I graduated with an Ontario College Diploma in Graphic Design, finishing at the top of my class with a 4.0 GPA and honours. Drawing had been part of my life since childhood; college gave that instinct a new visual language.

ALONG THE WAY / From print to Web3.

My work spans illustration, album artwork, prints, and wearable ideas. I also worked in Web3, contributing to NFT projects and other creative work in the space. Each project opens another door.

IN PROGRESS / Animation. 3D. AI.

Exploring animation, 3D, and AI development. This portfolio is my first website: a new space to bring every part of my creative world together. Still learning. Still making.
